By now, quite a number of you know that we here at FLEA FLICKERS pay homage to the traditional television sitcom format by featuring many of their time-honored comedic devices in our strips. That being said, one we’ve largely overlooked in our hundreds of comic strips is the son-in-law/mother-in-law dynamic, which traces its roots as far back as Ralph Kramden and Alice’s mom on The Honeymooners many decades ago. So just yesterday, we set to work to right that wrong, coming up with a one-off one-panel strip showing what Zeke having to deal with Cassie’s mom would often look like. We try not to miss one silly trick at FLEA FLICKERS so that our strips can be enjoyed by anyone, not just fans of pro football!
